Local Entertainers

Norwich Business Improvement District’s (BID) Head Out, Not Home free early evening entertainment programme returns this summer and they’re on the lookout for local acts to wow Norwich.

Can you sing, dance, perform tricks or have a crowd in fits of laugher with your comedy?  Whatever your talent, Norwich BID wants to hear from you!

Building on the growing success of Head Out, Not Home, it promises to be bigger and better this year and Norwich BID wants local people to be part of the summer evening line up.  This is an exciting opportunity for budding local performers to get involved and showcase their talents on the streets of Norwich alongside popular Covent Garden performers.  Last year Thursday evenings in Norwich saw local home grown talent such as Meg Bays, Global Harmony Choir, Anam Cara Dancers, Himazas and many others take to the streets of Norwich with their exceptional acts.

Run in partnership with Norwich & Norfolk Community Arts (NORCA) the Head Out, Not Home campaign organised by Norwich BID encourages people to stay in Norwich, and to enjoy late night shopping and the vast array of bars and restaurants on offer.

Stefan Gurney, Executive Director of Norwich BID said, “This is a fantastic opportunity for all talented people to show Norwich what you’ve got.  We are really keen to get the local community and families involved to make Thursday evenings in Norwich the place to be.  Norwich is well known for its creative spirit so it will be great to see what talent is out there, we may just find the next big thing.”
