The ex-London & North Eastern Railway Class B1 4-6-0 steam locomotive “Mayflower” is to attend the Mid Norfolk Railway’s second Annual Steam Gala.

The MNR Gala is to be held on the weekend of Friday 13th to Sunday 15th July 2012.
MNR is currently negotiating at least one other visiting steam locomotive.
B1 locomotives were frequently found hauling service trains across East Anglia. Their designer was the LNER’s Chief Engineer, Edward Thompson.
