A fun & informative approach to medieval music for all the family

Pearl in the Egg is a duo of versatile musicians who have named their group after King Edward I’s blind harpist.They sing and play all manner of authentic medieval instruments from rebec and crumhorn to bagpipes and spoons – and many more. Karen and Liz dress in period costume and introduce their exotic instruments as they go, providing a colourful and intriguing show.
