January 30th Celebration Lunch at the Kings Head Hotel, Beccles, commemorating the First Year of the ‘Revived’ Branch.
March 6th RAFA Band Concert in Beccles; Presenting the Tavernham Band** at the Beccles Public Hall, 19.30 hrs. Proceeds in aid of Branch Funds and Wings Appeal.
March 18th Branch AGM
March 26th to 28th RAFA Area Conference at the Devonshire Centre, Eastbourne, Sussex.
April 10th Branch Coach Outing to RAF Museum, Hendon.
April 22nd Dedication of USAAF Memorial at Kessingland Church. Memorial dedicated to the Memory of 10 U.S.Aircrew of crashed Liberator in 1944. (Details to be agreed with our Member John Blowers).
May 15th Branch visit to RAF Wattisham.
May 21st to 23rd RAFA Annual Conference, Blackpool.
June 26th Armed Forces Day – Parade and Branch Stall at Lowestoft in aid of wings.
July 21st Branch Coach Outing to ‘Flying Legends’ Airshow, Duxford.
August 12th and 13th Lowestoft Air Show. Branch Stall in aid of Wings Appeal.
September 11th and 13th Wings Appeal Collections at Morrisons Supermarket, Beccles.
September 12th Seething Charity Day at Seething Airfield in aid of Wings Appeal.
September 20th Battle of Britain Service, Parade and Dinner. (70th Anniversary).
October 22nd RAF Honington visit for RAFA Quiz night.
November 11th and 14th Remembrance Day Parade, Beccles Town Square and at Beccles War Memorial on Sunday 14th, Parade and Remembrance Service at St. Michaels Church beccles.
December 11th RAFA Carol Service at St. Benets Minster, Beccles.
Other items and events may be added. An interest item, e.g., talk, music, quiz, etc., is included at most meetings.
