“RETURN TO THE FORBIDDEN PLANET”
Hot Rock ‘n’ Roll in the Waveney Valley!

Strap yourself in, it’s time to blast into orbit as the Waveney Light Opera Group present the Olivier Award-winning Best Musical “Return to the Forbidden Planet”.

Following hot on the heels of their smash hit successes “Little Shop of Horrors” and “Disco Inferno”, the group will be presenting another ‘dancing in the aisles’ musical in Beccles Public Hall later this month.

“Return to the Forbidden Planet” is a classic cult musical comedy that took the West End by storm. It is based (very loosely) on The Tempest with a love story that has a hint of Romeo & Juliet and a script that Shakespeare might have found a little familiar – but may wish he hadn’t – all done in the style of a 1950’s B-movie!

The show is packed with a galaxy of classic rock ‘n’ roll songs including Great Balls of Fire, Good Vibrations, Shake Rattle & Roll, Teenager In Love, and The Young Ones!

The show being performed in Beccles Public Hall
from Tuesday 21st April to Saturday 25th April inclusive.

Performances are at 7.45pm and tickets priced at £8.00, £8.50 & £9.00 (reductions for concessions) can be obtained from Saxon, 35 New Market, Beccles or telephone: 01502 712329 or e-mail: [email protected].

Don’t miss it – tickets are selling fast!
