The 21st century met the 14th at Shelfanger fete, as the medieval Lord of the Manor and his wife tried out a Harley Davidson motorcycyle.

Adam de Bosville, impersonated by Diss museum manager Basil Abbott, and the Lady Alice (Diana Courtman) opened the fete on Saturday 18 July.
