Two teenagers, both newcomers to London, forge an unlikely friendship over the course of a hot summer. Tomo (Thomas Turgoose, star of the Shane Meadows hit, This is England) is a runaway from Nottingham; Marek is from Poland. The boys are both infatuated with the same girl. Shane Meadows’ happy urban fantasy is set near St Pancras station and was actually financed by Eurostar.

Norfolk 1914: a young farm labourer spends a last day with his lover as their village is caught up in nationalistic fervour at the start of the war. His enthusiasm to enlist is tempered by visions of the future. A filmic short story, Graham Baker’s debut, shot in North Norfolk with mainly local actors, won the Chicago Short Film Award.
