Danny Boyle and Alex Garland (The Beach and 28 Days Later) team up again in a new take on the sci-fi genre. Fifty years into the future, the Sun begins to die, and the Earth is dying as a result. A team of astronauts is sent to bomb and reignite the star. The visual and sound effects are spectacular, the tension mounts, but it is in the relationship between the scrapping crew and the sun that the film really shines.
