Great Yarmouth Players to Perform Sweeney Todd at Beccles Public Hall on Friday 15 April 2016
Great Yarmouth Players make their debut at the Beccles Public Hall this Friday 15 at 7.30pm with their performance of the Sweeney Todd melodrama.
The intense horror play is brought to the stage following the story of the crazed barber returning to London to avenge his family, accompanied by a sea captain, Anthony.
Anthony falls in love with the evil Judge’s ward who happens to be Todd’s daughter.
Sweeney Todd meanwhile sets up with Mrs Lovett, the pie maker, and provides her with fillings for her pies.
Tickets are £8 and £7 for concession and due to some swearing and horror scenes, this performance is suitable for ages 16 plus.
