The Best Betting Systems for Roulette
Roulette is undoubtedly one of the most popular casino games among gamblers around the world. It is quite easy to learn and even a novice player can play with confidence after just a couple of minutes of watching the action. While the game of Roulette is based on chance, there are some strategies that can be applied by players to improve their odds of winning. Keep reading to know more about them.
The Martingale System
The Martingale system is the most popular and commonly used Roulette strategy. The concept behind it is very simple – If you bet a proposition long enough, it’s bound to win, and if you increase your bet every time you lose, you’ll make profits when you eventually win. The original Martingale was played exclusively on outside bets. A player, for example, would bet Red at the table minimum, and if he lost, he would double the bet amount on the next spin. The player would continue doubling the bet for every loss, and on winning, he would rake in enough at a 1-1 payoff to cover everything he’d lost.
However, the Martingale is rather risky, and all it does is improves your chances of winning in the short term. So, it’s important to use it wisely, and you must also check the terms and conditions before playing because Roulette odds and other rules of the game can affect your winnings.
The Labouchere System
The Labourchere system, also known as the cancellation system, is one of the most well-known betting systems in the world. It’s a negative progression system wherein you bet until you reach a certain winning amount. When using this strategy, you take a row of numbers, say 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 with each number representing betting units; the lowest being 10 units for this example. You add the first and the last number which is 60 units. With each loss you add the bet to the end of the line, so now the number line is 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60. If you win the next bet for 70 units, you are ahead 10 units.
You now subtract the 10 and the 60. In case you lose the bet, you add a 70 to the sequence of numbers and try again. Every time you win the bet, the first and the last numbers are canceled. If you cancel all the numbers from the sequence, you win.
The Paroli System
The Paroli betting system offers the chance of winning good payouts without having to bet too high. This method is far less risky than the Martingale system, which makes it suitable for Roulette rookies and those who are planning to start playing Roulette online.
When using this strategy, you have to decide what kind of starting bet you want to play with every round. If you lose, you place the exact same bet again. If you win, you’ll leave your starting bet and your Roulette layout for the next coup – first progression. If you win again, you’ll again leave your bet plus winnings. If you successfully do this for a while, you can easily increase your chips.
