Playwright Alex Dennison is left heartbroken when his fiancée and leading lady Monica Welles is found dead from an apparent suicide. On the anniversary of that ill-fated night, Alex assembles the same cast and crew in the same theatre, for a reading of his new play. But as the reading begins, it becomes clear that Alex believes that Monica was murdered and he intends to uncover her killer…
The star cast features Gary Mavers (Peak Practice, Casualty and Emmerdale), Alex Ferns (EastEnders), Susie Amy (Footballers’ Wives), Anita Harris (Carry On), pop-idol – Mark Wynter, Lauren Drummond (Holby City) and Ben Nealon (Soldier Soldier).

CHOIR OF CLARE COLLEGE, CAMBRIDGE
at St Mary’s Church Bury St Edmunds
Since the founding of a mixed voice choir in 1971, the Choir of Clare College has gained an international reputation as one of the leading university choral groups in the world.
This visit to Bury St Edmunds to perform a programme of choral works spanning the centuries under the direction of Graham Ross is guaranteed to delight.
English work by Byrd and Purcell sit alongside Bach’s motet Der Geist Hilft and Heinrich Schütz’s double-choir Magnificat, with 20th Century works of the Anglican choral repertoire by Holst, Harris, Bainton, Vaughan Williams and Tippett, including Benjamin Britten’s A Hymn to St Cecilia.
The programme concludes with Gershwin’s Summertime, a sumptuous arrangement of Nobody Does It Better and Ward Swingle’s popular Country Dances.
As well as regular tickets, there are a limited number of £30 tickets available.
These include front row pews seats and a pre-concert drinks reception with the conductor at 6.30pm.
