Thetford Players Pantomime

Thetford Players Pantomime 2015, ‘Jack & the Beanstalk’, got off to a great start at the weekend with audiences walking away smiling and raving about the show.

With comments such as ‘Absolutely amazing panto’, ‘Quality…be your own judge and see the show’ and ‘Fantastic evening, good family fun’ the cast and crew cannot wait to entertain audiences again at the final three shows this weekend.

Director Caroline Foot said, “All the hard work has paid off and it just goes to show the amazing talent that exists in the town. From the youngest cast member to those playing lead roles for the first time as well as the Chorus members (the backbone of any panto) and not forgetting the ‘hidden’ talent who have put in countless hours of work making costumes and props. It takes a true team effort and I couldn’t be prouder.”

Thanks to funding from Shadwell Community Fund through Norfolk Community Foundation the next two performances on Friday 16 January at 7.30pm and Saturday 17 January at 1.30pm will be signed for the deaf by BSL interpreter Kim Mills.  The final chance to see this year’s pantomime is at 6.30pm on Saturday 17 January. Performances take place at Carnegie Room, Cage Lane, Thetford.

There are still some tickets available for the remaining shows from Leaping Hare, 20 King Street, Thetford, www.leapinghare.org, 01842 751975. Groups of 10 or more for the Friday night performance can benefit from a special price on booking.
