Thetford’s Great Pantomime Dame Pageant comes to the Carnegie Room, Thetford on Friday 10 October 2014 at 7.30pm, with local businesses and organisations battling it out on the catwalk to be crowned ‘Queen of the Dames’.

Six Pantomime Dames; Jake Smith (Deer’s Leap), Daniel Westley (Haart Thetford), Jake Shannon (Leaping Hare), Josh Clark (The Mulberry), Phil Pearson (Thetford Players) and Paul Clark (Independent) will aim to impress the judging panel by showing off a talent, competing in a swimwear procession before strutting their stuff in the eveningwear category.

One of the organisers, Sue Balaam of Thetford Players said, “The Pageant promises to be an event not to be missed. Think of it as a traditional beauty queen show but with less than traditional contestants.  Come along and spot some familiar faces as you’ve never seen them before!”

Tickets for this adult only event are on sale now from Leaping Hare (www.leapinghare.org) for £12 including a buffet and live music from Gecko Function.
