Bure Valley Railway Marketing Officer Annette Bowler said “it is a great opportunity to raise awareness of the Bure Valley Heritage railway and raise money for local children’s charities. It is a great day out for all the family. The railway is an attraction that is not weather dependant to have a great time. It is an opportunity to educate and encourage the interest with the children to pass on the passion and skills to future generations.

Radio Broadland Kids Charity Manager Ann Tattam said “It is an unusual coincidence or fate, a locomotive named Thunder on a railway in Broadland. The railway is an all weather attraction; Bure Valley Railway has generously offered to donate £1 of every adult fare to the Radio Broadland Kids charity.
