Treasure and monsters at Beccles Library

Beccles Library are running a monster papercraft session for children of all ages next Thursday (21 August) from 2pm to 3pm.

The session is linked to the characters from this year’s Summer Reading Challenge. Children can make Anansi the spider, the loch Ness Monster or Medusa.

There will also be a dragon collage to paint. There’s no need to book just come along on the day.

Children can also still sign up to take part in the summer reading challenge which runs until early September.

Beccles Library is also offering people a chance to discover hidden Beccles with a special treasure hunt next week.

People can buy a treasure hunt question sheet from the library for £2.50 and have seven days from Saturday 23 to Saturday 30 August to find the answers to all the questions.

There will be a prize for the winners.
