Travellers tales with a playful twist at Cley and Erpingham this October 2015
You can see ‘Wanderlust’ at:
The Norfolk Wildlife Trust’s Visitors Centre at Cley Marshes on Thursday 8th October at 7.30pm and
Erpingham with Calthorpe Village Hall on Friday 9th October at 7.45pm
Gramophones Theatre Company bring their enchanting tale, ‘Wanderlust’ to Cley and Erpingham with support from the arts and community development charity Creative Arts East.
Equipped with just a dictaphone and wellies, three women began a search to satisfy their thirst for adventure. Visiting forgotten corners of the country they each hoped to bring back the most exciting tale. What they found was something better.
‘Wanderlust’ brings together a touching assortment of remarkable stories collected in Norfolk and Suffolk. Hear about a lady with twinkling eyes and her heroic journey of survival, an adventurer lost on Ben Nevis, and a man in a wicker chair fondly remembering his dancing days. Wanderlust takes the audience on an uplifting journey, weaving stories together using humour, verbatim and live music.
This event is organised in partnership with Creative Arts East with funding by Arts Council England, Norfolk County Council and North Norfolk District Council.
