January saw two exciting new ventures at the Hall – Wrestling with WAW and a Popup Pianobar with Ian Sainsbury.  Both were a big success with a packed Hall for each event.

Beccles Public Hall team is excited to announce that both events are back in early April!

Book your tickets for another Night of WAW Wrestling on Friday 1st April and Popup Pianobar with Ian Sainsbury, a week later, on Friday the 8th. Both events are very different and highly entertaining. However, what they do have in common are very reasonably priced tickets –  Just £9 for wrestling and £7 for the pianobar.

The professional wrestling, with WAW, is all action from the start, with various bouts including a tag team match. The appreciative crowd soon got into the spirit of the evening, with their favourite fighters being loudly encouraged!

The popup Pianobar a week later will have an entirely different atmosphere, with the highly talented singer/songwriter and pianist Ian Sainsbury providing a complete evening’s entertainment. Ian has a wide and popular repertoire and will sing and play some of our all-time favourites.-

Don’t forget Soul Time on Saturday 2nd April followed by the ever popular SKA sounds from excellent tribute band, More Madness on Saturday 9th April.  The More Madness evening will, as ever,  be a fund-raising evening for Beccles Lido – so do attend if you can as we look forward to the start of another new season. Beccles Lido opens on Saturday 28th May.
