Beccles Cycle For Life 2012
The Rotary Club of Beccles, in association with Velo Club Baracchi, invites you to join us on May 13 2012, to raise funds for charity via a sponsored cycle ride. We are continuing the category of team riders for business and other social groups again in 2012. So why not join our single riders and family groups by getting a team together from your work, club, pub, to help make 2012 an even greater success than last year!
Free Prize Draw
Individual riders in the 2012 event who bank at least £20 in sponsorship by the required date (16 June 2012), will automatically be entered into a FREE PRIZE DRAW for a new bike worth £300, thanks to Norfolk and Suffolk Financial Services Ltd and Life Cycles.
The 2011 event proved to be a great success, with just under 400 riders. The total money distributed from the 2011 event was £7,660. This was shared equally between two charities. £3,830 went to East Anglian Air Ambulance, with the other £3,830 going to the Rotary Club of Beccles Charitable Trust. This fund is a charitable trust that has distributed a total of over £10,000 (as at July 2010), to support international disaster relief aid, Waveney Sailability and many other local charities and good causes.
