Hi all,
I would like to pass on news of a rather exciting event for older people taking place from 12pm to 4pm on 1st April 2011 at Woolpit Village Hall.
It will be a Golden Age Fair and there will be some 29 organisations in attendance including Age UK Suffolk; Suffolk HomeShield, the Credit Union, the Library at Home service; Hate Crime; associations for the blind, plus information/demonstration on the Digital Switchover and much much more. Even the Gipping Valley Model Boat Club will have a display.
There will be goodies to take away, singers performing, and optional activities such as chair-based exercise plus a wealth of information on all aspects of life for older people. Altogether it’s not to be missed.
The event has been organised by the Rural Coffee Caravan Information project (RCCIP) on a model established over a number of years in Lincolnshire.
