A number of organisations including Big C and NHS Norfolk will be on hand to offer practical, hands-on advice on a number of topics including Cancer, Mental Health, fitness and exercise, diet, smoking cessation, alcohol reduction and maintaining a healthy heart.

Information on the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation programmes will be available with details on their free health check programmes.

‘Men’s Health has been shifted into the spot light recently, men are starting to think more carefully about how they look after themselves especially following Fabrice Muamba’s cardiac arrest at White Heart Lane’.

The NHS Norfolk Health Trainers will offer practical advice on maintaining a healthy heart and keeping fit.

‘Raising awareness of signs and symptoms is so important, Cancer Research UK estimates around 40,800 men are diagnosed with Prostate Cancer every year, we need to know when it’s time to stop ignoring a symptom and go to a doctor’

The event, to be held at the Harleston Community Leisure Facility, is free and open to all from 7.30pm-9.30pm. For further information please call 01379 851 920 or email ‘[email protected]
