TO THE MEMORY OF THE FALLEN AND THE FUTURE OF THE LIVING

Your Royal British Legion poppy helps us to provide thousands of modern veterans, Service men, women and their families with vital advice and support. This year don’t just wear a poppy for the memory of the fallen, wear it for the future of the living.

We’re telling some of our amazing stories behind the poppy throughout the Appeal and are urging everyone to share why they wear their poppy using the hashtag #MyPoppy.

Millie Mackintosh wore a dress with red poppies, custom-made by British fashion designer Giles Deacon, to launch our #MyPoppy campaign.

Millie wears her poppy to remember her great-grandfather, Lieutenant Douglas Mackintosh, who fought in the First World War.

Now it’s your turn! Tell us your #MyPoppy story on Facebook @OfficialPoppyLegion, on Twitter @PoppyLegion and on Instagram @RoyalBritishLegion.
