NNUH Fete 2016

An eight foot Boa Constrictor, a bearded dragon and a barn owl are three of the attractions at this years Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital fete on Saturday 18th June 2016.

The trio are likely to be accompanied by a carrion crow, a hedgehog and a Sulcata tortoise which can all be handled and touched by visitors. They are coming to the fete for the first time thanks to Wild Touch.

The NNUH fete runs from 1pm-4pm and entertainment will include the Hospital Choir, Rock Choir and Shades of Pink Cancer Choir as well as the Busybodies stage school.

Many of the hospital’s wards and departments will be having stalls to help with their fundraising including Kirsty Lewis, ward manager of AMU and her colleagues. Kirsty recently ran the London Marathon to kickstart fundraising to improve the AMU dayroom.

“The team thought the hospital fete is a wonderful chance to have run and raise money at the same time. We are hoping lots of people will find us and support us.”

There will be lots of traditional games available, refreshments to enjoy and fun for all the family throughout the afternoon plus free car parking.
