This Sunday (24th November 2013) our team of young volunteers, joined by Deputy Mayor of Lowestoft Malcolm Cherry, will be doing a sponsored walk in our onesies (the deputy mayor will also be in a onesie!) to raise money and awareness for young carers in Suffolk. The team will then use this money to buy gifts and make and deliver Christmas parcels to local young carers aged 9 to 15.
The sponsored walk will be along the sea front starting at the Seagull Theatre, Oulton Road (10am) to Africa Alive, Kessingland and finishing at Asda, Lowestoft (2pm est.) Almost 8 miles! We will finish the walk with some bag packing at Asda before finally visiting the Joseph Conrad who are putting on some food and refreshments for us.
