On the 9th April 2011 we are holding our 26th annual Share day of fun arts activities and workshops at Thurston Community College. The theme this year is the culture of Australia and New Zealand with the title of ‘Share Down Under’. Share days are always fun and colourful events enjoyed by hundreds of people.

As always we’re looking to publicise the event to people of all ages and abilities but also to anyone who might like to come along and volunteer for a few hours as we rely on our team of volunteers to make the day run smoothly. Our Leisure service has organised several exciting day trips over the next few months. Transport for these will be by accessible bus or minibus and can pick people from Ipswich, Stowmarket and Bury St Edmunds. · Wednesday 2nd February – The Lion King musical live in the West End of London.

· Saturday 5th March – We’re going to the X Factor Live Tour at Wembley Arena which will feature local winner Matt Cardle and all the other finalists from the latest X Factor finals.

· Saturday 16th April – A day out to see WWE Wrestlemania Revenge at the Birmingham LG Arena.

· Monday 30th May (Bank Holiday Monday) – Kings of Leon in Concert at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

· Saturday 4th June – England V Switzerland, Euro 2012 qualifier at Wembley Stadium. Kick off is 3pm.

We’re also going to the 2nd (away) leg of the Arsenal V Ipswich cup semi final on 25th January at the Emirates Stadium and there may be a few spaces left on that for anyone who is interested.
