creative workshops

It’s been a month for good news, and thanks to generous funding, we’ve been able to extend our Around the Table project for family carers for another year. We’re also embarking on a very exciting association with Google Arts & Culture as we pilot virtual reality technology as a way of improving wellbeing in people in hospitals and care homes.

And as we say goodbye to Lowestoft Folk, watch this space for news of our next intergenerational project which is taking shape, we hope to have more news soon!

With best wishes,

Alex & Hayley, Co-Directors

Virtual Reality

Virtual Reality project funding success

We’ve been awarded a National Lottery Project Grant through Arts Council England to develop a new project, ‘VR Adventures’, in association with Google Arts & Culture. During this pilot project, we’ll be bringing immersive virtual reality (VR) experiences to benefit people in health and care settings in Norfolk and Suffolk. Read more about VR Adventures

Making room for more carers Around the Table

Thanks to generous new funding, we’ll be offering another year of social, cultural and creative sessions for family carers in Suffolk.

We will be delivering our Around the Table project in Lowestoft and Claydon, as well as extending the project into  Halesworth and Bury St Edmunds from early 2020. Read more about our new Around the Table sessions.

Lowestoft Folk

Behind the scenes at Lowestoft Folk

As our intergenerational project, Lowestoft Folk, comes to an end, we thought you’d enjoy a film sharing a little bit of what went on as we brought young and old together to creatively explore their shared heritage.

In the words of resident, Les: “It’s all part of life and the richness of it and that’s been one of the best times of my life.” Read more about Lowestoft Folk.
