Trusts governors attend many of these meetings, service user governors chair some of them, and they welcome your feedback  – either in person or by emailing [email protected].

Suffolk User Forum jobs
Two new posts with Suffolk User Forum – the voice for mental health in Suffolk – who have nominated one of our partner governors this year.
Office Administrator: £10 an hour – £9,360 per annum. Based in Kesgrave.
Service User Engagement Lead: £13.50 an hour – £12,636 per annum. Own transport required.
Both posts are 18 hours a week with a fixed term contract until 31 March 2017.

Improve local mental health services for BME communities
We need service users and carers from local Black and Ethnic Minority (BME) communities to work with our health professionals to help us improve the way we deliver services as part of our Open Mind project.

You will need to attend three half-day training sessions and a focus group meeting four times per year. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
Training dates: 7 April, 21 April and 5 May 2015. Time: 09.30am – 12.30pm
1st Focus group meeting: 19 May 2015. Time: 1.30pm – 4.30pm
