West Norfolk Clinical Commissioning Group

Patients and members of voluntary groups in West Norfolk are being invited to share their views about the health needs of the area.

West Norfolk Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is the new organisation taking on the responsibility for healthcare in the area. The group is taking on the reins of planning and paying for NHS services for the 165,000 people living in the area. Members of the group would like to hear the views of the public on how taxpayers’ money should be spent and what healthcare should be prioritised.

The next session will be held on Thursday, September 6 2012, from 1pm to 5pm at Le Strange Hotel, Golf Course Road, Hunstanton. Then a following session is planned for Wednesday, September 12 from 1pm to 5pm at the West Norfolk Professional Development Centre, Kilham’s Way, King’s Lynn.

Caroline Howarth, Engagement Manager for West Norfolk CCG, said:

“We have already held one event in Swaffham and it went really well. Good reviews were received and 60 people came along from the borough and county councils as well as a number of voluntary sector and patient support groups.”

To book your place, contact Caroline Howarth on 01553 668517 or email [email protected].

Caroline added:

“As food isn’t provided, feel free to bring your lunch with you.”
