November 12th sees the start of another brand new event from the Bungay Area Lions Club taking place at the Royal British Legion Club in Priory Lane, Bungay between 11.00am and 2.00pm. This a dual event and an opportunity for both the avid amateur baker, and professional business to show their skills in the kitchen and be sampled by the public.

The Men’s 1sts accepted my challenge of last week to put in a top billing performance against Cambridge University and they did so in fine style at a remarkably warm and sunny Weybread winning 5-1. In the opening minutes Cambridge University seemed content to move the ball across the pitch and rarely got into the Magpies’ half.
