Harleston’s Future is leading a campaign to have a Harleston Hare, decorated with swifts and wild animals, in the town centre over the summer. It will form part of GoGoHares, a Norfolk wide scheme to raise money for the local charity, Break and will help put Harleston on the map.

Southwold Rugby Club wrote a new page in their history yesterday in front of several hundred cheering Wold fans when they smashed Millwall to gain promotion to London 2 North East. That deserved promotion now takes Wold to a higher level of rugby than they have ever played at before and it wasn’t just the fact they won, it was how they won.

Rock On. A Suffolk-based arts charity has been awarded £71,000 of National Lottery funding, through Youth Music and supported by Arts Council England, to run a two-year music project for young people and adults living in disadvantaged areas in the Waveney and Suffolk Coastal districts.

The bluebell woodland at Sotshole Broad nature reserve, next to Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden at South Walsham, will be open every day from Monday, April 23 to Sunday, May 13, 10am to 5pm. Access is via Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden.
